It’s only fitting that the first post on our site is to give credit to all the developers and enthusiasts who have contributed to creating one of the best open-source Content Management Systems available, Wordpress. After all, this site is powered by wordpress.

Primarily using Drupal as my CMS of choice over the past couple of years I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to give wordpress another go. While the two are quite different in their approach and structure, both are capable of creating some very complex and scalable dynamic websites.

Building Site-Blogger.com with a custom theme was a painless and quick exercise. As stated on the wordpress website:

“WordPress is what you use when you want to work with your blogging software, not fight it.”

I must say that I would have to agree with this. I will certainly be using wordpress again to build more sites.

The documentation is very well layed out and extremely comprehensive. Or, if you can’t find what you are looking for you can always take a look in the very active support forum.
