Fog Machines

Fog Machines are perfect for home parties or haunted displays. They give you that that ominous foreboding look.  Once only seen within the realm of the professional entertainment scene, smaller more affordable units are becoming more common for personal use.

Fog Machines produce a dense vapour which is similar to fog or smoke in appearance and can be used in a variety of application. They are commonly used  to add drama and atmosphere to a scene in theatrical productions.

The principal of Fog creation is really quite simple.  Fog Juice (which is normally glycerin or glycol mixed with water) is heated to create a fog-like smoke.  Much like heating cooking oil on your stove, only without the bad smell.

Consumer level models come with different capacities and capabilities.  Some are intended for continuous use and produce large amounts of Fog per minute.  Whilst some of the cheaper units can only be used for a few minutes at a time and produce much smaller volumes of Fog.  If you need continuous operation make sure your unit is capable and has a large enough tank so that you are not refilling it every few minutes with Fog Juice.
